1861, lamp depicting a female water bearer before a grotesque fountainhead marked at base ‘Made in Italy 1861 3/9/61 N1’ on a pedestal having an octagonal plinth supporting turned elements accented with carving rising to an octagonal platform
Condition: Very Good to Good, overall moderate wear consistent with age and normal use; shade for lamp repaired with loss of a rim piece; chip to lower edge of pedestal platform; chip to turned band above melon shaped element of pedestal; no other chips or cracks noted; working; we cannot guarantee the operation
