An 1803 check for $1500 drawn on the Bank of Albany to the order of John Jacob Astor, having been signed over by Astor to the cashier of that bank; having a removable double glass floater frame which hangs on a display frame showing a portrait of Astor with a brass label
Condition: Very Good, clear, strong signature on laid paper having creases and short penknife cuts; a quarter inch square having been removed; not examined out of the frame
