Weighted brass umbrella stand including a painted bamboo cane from the Chicago World’s Fair 1934; a walking stick carved from a crab apple limb and having brass accents and a metal pointed tip; a walking stick having nickle and brass accents inscribed ‘Compliments of the Niles Tool Works’; a walking stick inscribed ‘W. Spear Melbourne, Florida 1924’; a short cane having a carved bone handle; a painted carved crab apple cane; a red painted scepter having a hand-carved Asian-inspired eagle accent at the top; a leather wrapped baton, a green silk umbrella identified by a tag reading ‘Made in Italy for Marshall Fields’ and a black silk umbrella identified by a tag reading ‘Made in Italy’
Condition: Very Good to Good, brass umbrella stand having dented base, scratches and tarnish; overall light to heavy wear of canes and walking sticks due to age and use; Florida souvenir cane missing metal tip; both umbrella mechanisms work; green umbrella having some rust on the silk and plastic handle split and broken; black umbrella silk fading; overall light dirt accumulation
