Violin marked ‘Sebastian Mittenwald Kloz An. 1716’ in the interior and ‘Germany’ on the bottom near the end pin; having a one-piece back; including two bows having inlay shell decorations as well as a footed, embossed, black leather case having a lock and key; case lined in green velvet and having an interior ribbon reading ‘Cowhide Leather G & S’
Condition: Good, overall wear and scratches due to age and use; light dents; stain and varnish loss; 3/4-inch crack near the bottom of the left f hole; bows having no identifying marks; instrument not tested; we cannot guarantee that it will perform musically; not checked for replacement parts
