(3) items including St. George; female and male saint with holy child having applied metal halos; and a depiction of four saints including one with applied metal halo; all having inscriptions
Provenance: The Estate of George ‘Yorgo’ Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000

Condition: Good to Fair, overall light to moderate wear consistent with age, material and normal use; icon with four saints having craquelure and cupping throughout, missing (3) metal halos, having mild warp, pigment loss throughout and considerable insect damage to panel resulting in loss of left corner, though mostly visible on back; saints with child having craquelure throughout with some cupping, missing a metal halo and having light warp; St. George having multiple scuffs and scratches throughout resulting in pigment thinning / loss
