(2) total items including a 19th century copy of a Rembrandt 1631 painting in a gold-tone gesso on carved wood frame; together with a copy after Adolph von Menzel (German, 1815–1905) ‘King Frederick II’s Roundtable at Sanssouci’ in a gold-tone wood frame

Condition: the Rembrandt cut down and restretched, still a bit slack, having two scuffs to left edge, one to right edge and a smaller at lower center, frame having light wear, the von Menzel having six canvas-patched repairs verso and corresponding areas of fill and inpainting, slack canvas, frame having light wear
