Provenance: The Estate of George ‘Yorgo’ Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000

Condition: Good to Fair, overall light to moderate wear consistent with age and normal use; landscape having numerous patched punctures with inpainting throughout; stretcher marks throughout; wear to edges possibly from prior framing; dark spots on back of canvas corresponding with small areas of thinning canvas; still life having heavy craquelure and cupping overall; wear to edges possibly from prior framing; areas of paint loss lower left, upper right and lower right quadrants various accretions throughout; light dirt accumulation to both
