Depicting a Lamentation of Christ scene; together with a Nicola Ziroli (American, 1908-1970) work on paper depicting the Madonna and Child; both with gold tone frames
Provenance: The Estate of George ‘Yorgo’ Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000

Condition: Good to Fair, Lamentation having fine craquelure throughout and vertical splits to the wood, one through the height of the panel; Ziroli with some rippling and light creasing to the paper; heavy varnish; minor cracking / scratching to frame; heavy varnish; cracking / scratching / gesso loss to frame
