Depicting St. John the Baptist having inscriptions and incised motif around halo
Provenance: The Estate of George ‘Yorgo’ Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000

Condition: Good to Fair, overall moderate wear consistent with age and normal use; insect damage to wood particularly visible on top edge, back and lower right edge; heavy craquelure throughout resulting in areas of pigment loss overall, especially on borders; nail holes on both halos; wear to sides; dirt accumulation
