(5) items including Moroccan style jambiya having fullers, bone handle and scabbard including applied adornments throughout; Moroccan style jambiya having wood handle including metal adornments, defined median ridges on blade and etched and adorned metal scabbard; Arabian Peninsula style jambiya having wide double-edged blade with defined median ridges, including ornate scabbard having filigree and leather adornments; Masai seme / simi short sword having hide-wrapped handle and scabbard; and Tuareg arm dagger having ‘skull crusher’ pommel with reptile skin handle and embossed leather and reptile skin sheath; together with a contemporary Brazilian knife having fur handle and scabbard with applied composite adornments

Condition: Very Good to Good, overall light wear consistent with normal use; light to moderate oxidation on blades; wood-handled jambiya having few stress cracks following wood grain that do not compromise its integrity; Tuareg arm dagger missing loop on scabbard for wearing on arm; Tuareg arm dagger blade stamped ‘2’ on each side, indicating blade metal may be of European origin; Arabian jambiya having areas of leather loosening near mouth of scabbard; leather on backside of Arabian jambiya having square shaped cut-away portion, possibly to reveal maker mark or protective symbol / amulet
