Condition: Very Good to Fair, overall moderate wear consistent with age and normal use; portrait having heavy craquelure and cupping overall; areas of possible inpainting upper right quadrant; wear to edges including paint loss throughout, possibly from prior framing; thinning canvas allowing light to pass through areas of craquelure; stretcher marks throughout; dark spotting on canvas en verso; slightly loose canvas; varnish inconsistency throughout; dog having numerous patched tears and punctures throughout with some areas of exposed canvas and patching visible; few possible areas of inpainting, upper right and upper left quadrants; areas of paint loss along edges especially bottom and lower left, upper right and lower right quadrants; craquelure and light cupping throughout; stretcher marks throughout; light dirt accumulation to both
