Twenty-four items; nine polychrome glazed tiles, some marked ‘Barcelona’, ‘Siena’ and ‘Detroit’ and having figural and botanical decoration including a thirteen-inch by nine-inch Asian themed tile; one tile having a fish fossil; thirteen boxes including one having a Chancay period pre-Columbian textile framed within the lid; together with a pre-Columbian decorated gourd; provenance: Chicago, Illinois estate
Condition: Very Good to Good, overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; one tile having repaired corner break; Asian tile having areas of chipping with loss to edges and crazing; scratching and areas of finish loss to metal boxes
