19th century, two Northeastern Stoneware Jugs including a two-gallon jug having cobalt floral decoration, stamped ‘S. L. PEWTRESS & CO. / NEW-HAVEN, CT’as well as a one-gallon jug having brushed cobalt floral decoration, stamped ‘N. CLARK JR / ATHENS NY’
Condition: Very Good, minor chip on bottom edge of Pewtress jug, some production flaws, overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; please note: this lot came from a smoking house and a slight odor may be present
