19th century, attributed to Prits Purilan Iron Works, Boston, Massachusetts; full bodied molded metal; mounted on a contemporary metal stand; provenance: Autumn Pond, Woodbury, Connecticut, March 5, 2005 (original invoice included)
Condition: Good, overall moderate wear consistent with age and normal use, rear leg is detached but present; please note: this lot came from a smoking house and a slight odor may be present
