Five items including two Japanese Odate bentwood boxes having cedar bark stitching, a sinew sewn example of probable Native American origin, a Swedish punch decorated box having sewn ‘fingered’ lap and latched lid and an American Shaker style box
Condition: Very Good, all having occasional stable splits along grain; Swedish box lid split and staple-repaired; overall light to moderate soil and wear consistent with age and normal use; please note: this lot came from a smoking house and a slight odor may be present
